Imagine being asked to become involved in a day of off-the-scale love, surrounded by people in brilliant clothes and better moods. THAT’s why I love being a wedding photographer. It’s an awesome responsibility. Part insider, part outsider, I get to see a bride at her most vulnerable, feel the growing anticipation as the groom awaits her entrance, the best man trying not to stuff it up, and then, when it’s all done, I get to laugh along with the speeches like an over-emotional Aunt (I always do this).

I have a very relaxed style, I won’t over pose you and I want to have a bit of fun with you and your guests. Above all, I want to do the best possible job I can to give you an incredible forever momento of your day.

We are all guilty of storing awesome pictures away on a hard drive somewhere, not being loved or appreciated. Wedding photographs NEED to be printed, touched, enjoyed. Nothing beats having them presented in a beautiful album. I am always so blinking chuffed when a client asks me to design an album for them and I put as much care and creativity into this as I do the day itself. I use two top-notch album suppliers and am more than happy to show you samples.

How far do you travel?

There is no limit. I travel all over the UK and love destination weddings. My wedding prices are inclusive of travel within London. Additional travel /accommodation costs are quoted for weddings outside of London.

You are the one for us, how do we book?

Aw, ace! I always like to meet my clients for a cuppa and a chat, to learn about their day and have a chemistry check. Then it’s a simple case of me sending over a wedding contract for you to sign and return with a non-refundable 25% deposit. Easy.

As we get closer to the day, I’ll be checking in regularly to get lots of information – dress designer, florist, band – and importantly to get the running order of the day locked down. If you have booked a second shooter, I will be sharing all the info so we are in perfect sync.

How long will it take to get our piccies?

You’ll be desperate to see something straight away so I will get some sneak peeks to you within a couple of days. I work hard to make sure your gallery is ready asap without compromising on quality and aim to deliver 4 weeks after your wedding date.

My other half hates posing for pictures, is this a problem?

Not at all! I hear that ALOT and often find that the posing anxiety disappears on the day. That said, I prefer to keep things as natural and spontaneous as possible and most of them time you won’t even realise I’m there. I do like to spend 15 minutes or so with just you two for some relaxed couple portraits, but trust me, it’s painless! Joking aside, it’s really cool to get some special pictures away from your guests. These are memory making moments.

The folks want some formal shots, can we get this bit done quickly?

Absolutely. I recommend keeping the formals to a minimum, 10 if you can. We want to keep the momentum and energy of the day flowing and NOT spending ages on line up after line up certainly helps. These pictures are often so important to the parents / grandparents however, so think about your key groups and we will factor in enough time to get these memories in the bag.
